Welcome to PKUCon 2027
PKUCon - Connecting the world of PKU - is an international forum designed to convene all stakeholders actively engaged in the management and care of individuals with phenylketonuria (PKU).
PKUCon 2027 will explore the evolving landscape of PKU and hyperphenylalaninaemias, moving beyond a single-disease, single-target and single-treatment model, with main focus on:
- Diagnostic complexity
- Brain and real-life outcomes
- Treatment burden
- Emerging pharmacological options
- Nutritional strategies in the pharmacological era
- Future therapeutic perspectives
Our mission
The aim of PKUCon 2027 is to discuss how different interventions can be selected, combined, monitored, and adapted according to phenotype, age, responsiveness, clinical needs, and patient priorities.
